Pop-Up Grill 2014

The idea was simple: A grill – available, portable, affordable, easy and quick assembly.
Its construction is self-explanatory: Four parts of lasered sheet steel, not thicker than a notebook, are connected through integrated hooks and slots. In that manner, the parts interlock and reinforce each other. The jagged bottom can be jabbed into the ground to provide the extra bit of stability. No special equipment and tools are needed to set the grill up.
With the growing accessibility of laser technology in foresight, this design could be thought as a possible Open-Source-Template in the future.

The sheet steel was lasered by the courtesy of System180.
