Tableware and tiles – both made of ceramics and both are used to lay surfaces.
Yet, they couldn’t be more different. Laying a table with modular and functional tiles is to play with the conception of where certain objects should belong. Also it challenges the borders between room, furniture and small items. The single modules are measured out to fit into a grid. The idea of tiled tableware puts a new twist on the tradition of laying tables.
